These Terms of Sale give you some information about the contract that is formed when you buy any product from us.

 

About Us 

We are KindCandles.co.uk, a site operated and controlled by Emily Annand, a sole trader registered in the UK. 

We own the domain name. Please do not use this without our consent.

Our Products 

Our products are created individually by hand. Therefore, there may be slight differences between each product and we cannot guarantee each product will be identical. Any product ordered may vary slightly from the online images, for example in respect of colour or size.

Customer Care 

If you are dissatisfied with your product, please contact us or refer to our Shipping & Returns policy to find out our policy for returns.

Liability 

If there is a failure or delay on our part in delivering your product due to reasons outwith our control, we cannot be held liable. 

We are entitled to delay or stop your order if: 

  • we are out of stock of your chosen product (in which case we will contact you to discuss next steps);

  • or we cannot process your payment.

You the right to request a copy of the information I hold about you. If you would like a copy of the personal information I hold, please get in touch. You also have the right to be forgotten, so you can contact me to request the data I hold be destroyed.

Email marketing messages & subscription

Under the GDPR we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our newsletter or marketing mailing list. Any email marketing messages we send are done so through an EMS, email marketing service provider. An EMS is a third party service provider of software / applications that allows marketers to send out email marketing campaigns to a list of users.

Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, I.P addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.

Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with the GDPR and the PECR. We provide you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or manage your preferences / the information we hold about you at any time.
